In the tried and true recipes look for UJSSM. The barley adds a nice flavor. If your gonna take a chance of making a all grain whiskey check out the tried but true NCHooch's bourbon.Overall, I am very pleased with the results of UJSSM recipe. I won't be able to run it for a day or two. My question is I won't have backset to add to my 2nd generation ferment for at least 2 days. And I don't see a problem with the original thread. What's so hard about mix some corn sugar and water together. Add some yeast and let it ferment. After you run it take 25% of the backset melt the sugar. Then add it back to the fermenter and top off with water. And let it ferment again. And repeat.
